I find that if we are going long distances it’s best to drive slightly slower (65mph) as there is a dramatic drop off in range as you get to 70mph and the rare time you drive in France a...
Re: Lockdown
That all sounds about right but I am surprised that decorating forms part of this list. . . I starting to be concerned for your well being. . .
Re: 30 Years?

Lol - you have clung onto VHS longer than most. What are you going to do with all the VHS cassettes in your house?

Re: Fossil Fuels
Electric cars are much better for the local environment, you can generate electricity for them cleanly (PVs), central energy generation is also more efficient (power plants) and the only downside is the lithium usage.
All in all I would love to be able to own an electric car.

It is a shame that O2 doesn't improve its service in Central Manchester! I am barely being able to connect to the internet at all.

Re: Nearly a Kindle
Lizzie is trying to tempt herself with a Kindle 'Paperwhite'. Maybe if she caves in you could try her old one and see if you like that better. The Kindle actually has a very good screen that you can see whilst outside and in odd lighting conditions - the page looks much more like a book when compare...

Re: Not In The Mood
Have you tried reading 'The Time Travellers wife'? or 'The Life of Pi'. Both are excellent reads.
If you are looking for something with a good story without the classy authoring of the two suggestions above you could try 'The Game of Thrones'.

I am surprised that you don't have a photograph to demonstrate the awesome size of the plant! We could probably use something similar in our house.

Re: 4G or not 4G?
I like the 4G but because the speed of connection is so much quicker I have motored through my data allowance 12 days early. Will need to keep tracks of this, don't want it to be a recurring theme!

I saw this on 'The Guardian' and thought of you. Maybe a Christmas holiday once the Lottery has been won?
Enjoy,

Re: The City State of the Invincible Overlord
The best thing is that the powerful magicuser will be his own worst enemy. The assumption will be that a powerful rival person has moved into the area and broken in to steal incriminating evidence about him. Hopefully he will becoming paranoid and start jumping at shadows!
