Doctor Who

Post by John »

We are well into Series 3 now, and it's very well put together, but I don't feel it has quite the spark that Series 1 and 2 had. Is it because there's no Billie Piper? Is it because the scripts aren't quite as strong?

Don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying it, but perhaps I just miss Rose....

Ah, well.....

Wistful look. (No emoticon for that)

I am pleased to report that last night's episode, where The Doctor takes human form, was also very much a return to form.

Splendidly shot and quite intriguing, with only some gratuitous Animated Scarecrows to even cause a ruffle of disquiet.

Martha became a believable character, but the main accolade must go to David Tennant, whose performance was superbly good.

The latest episode "Blink" was different, very clever, very entertaining and continued the high level that the previous two had achieved.

This is very, very high class stuff.
