SF Novel published by Robert Hale and Company, London. 1970s. 192pp.

Oh dear. What an absolutely dreadful novel. Basically this is a badly written, error-filled thriller novel disguised as SF by the mention of Blinders (guns), shuttle craft (cars) and Space Patrol (police) and with dialogue so painful it makes Blakes 7 look like Shakespeare.

"I'm prepared to wait, to see if the pressures that will be removed from your life when you are no longer an exile will give you a normal attitude to those around you and release your emotions from restriction." That's a romantic line from Carmel to the hero and I'm not sure I could imagine anyone speaking in such a stilted manner.

Lamentable in every respect.

No stars.

No stars is especially bad for an SF novel!
