I have to cofess that we only rented this film because I wanted to see what Laura Prepon (Donna in That 70s Show) had done since then.
I have to say this is a really disturbing film about a serial rapist and his wife (Laura Prepon). It's violent, not particularly nice, and I would not have watched it through if it hadn't been for wanting to see how she did.
She did very very well and the acting was superb. Totally convincing. Now whether that's a good or bad thing is another matter, but I suppose on balance if it had to be done it might as well be done well. And it was done very well.
