Finger by Christopher Wilkins, Peter Davies, London, 1972, 184pp
Finger blows up the man upstairs, not on purpose of course. He is taken away, certified insane and set to work for The Organisation. The whole organisation seems to be set up to send out ambulances for people, anaesthetise and kidnap them, kill them and send them on to be incinerated. Finger's first job is to improve efficiency....
This is another strange little novel, well worth a read. It has its own peculiar logic which is both consistent and yet utterly bizarre throughout. It's not quite a classic, but it is definitely good.

Would be interesting to read. Seems short, sweet and to the point from your review (and page count!).
