Torchwood - Children of Earth

We missed the transmissions on BBC1, so bought the DVD instead. This impressively was on its way even before the transmissions had finished.
Nicely produced, with good effects and credible acting, and a strong storyline. We were originally going to watch one per night, but it was gripping enough to entice us to watch the lot in two nights of one and four episodes respectively.
It had a final sort of feel to it, so maybe they are making no more, but we'll see no doubt. The BBC and everyone else are so hard up these days that this series might be just too expensive to make.
Do we believe that governments would really act in this despicable way? Yes, absolutely.
