The Changeling

Post by John »

Set in the 1920s, but instantly ruined by a 1950s alarm clock, a young mum goes to work and returns to find her child missing. Some months later he is found, but she realises it is not her child, despite everyone else being convinced it is.

What a dreadfully slow, predicatable and boring film. Who cares? I got no feeling of sympathy with the over acting hysterical mother and no feeling of danger or suspense from the bland child actor. I didn't even stick with it long enough to find out whether it was SF, horror, or something else that belonged to the Woman's Own Film of the Week category.

Sue didn't like it either. Very depressing.

1s for being shot competently.
