Very familiar ground this, and Sue kindly pointed out that it was almost the same as Fern Gully.
Sorry, not going for this one at all. Overt and shameless promotion of a green agenda. Not that I'm saying I don't approve of the priciples of preserving the forest and the planet, but I don't like it presented as propoganda dressed up as a children's story.
All the usual character types were there, all the usual props.....ugh.
awarded for reasonably good cinematography and effects.
