Nathalie Archangel

Post by John »

A terrific singer/songwriter that I first discovered doing backup vocals and joint leads on the Four Seasons album "Hope & Glory" (1992)

Nathalie's three albums are Nathalie Archangel (1978, Columbia), a very rare CD indeed that you will probably find as a Japanese pressing.

Owl (1992, MCA) is the one that is commonly found on eBay and was very nearly a major success. This dates from the same time as Hope & Glory and features a duet with Frankie Valli.

Raven (1996) was a commercial release but in that form has eluded me. It is, however, available as an iTunes download or as a download from Astral Records. No-one currently has the rights to issue a proper CD. Thus album is darker and gutsier than Owl, but also less commercial.

All thoroughly recommended, but go for Owl to get the best experience. 11 tracks of incredible quality and utterly consistent performance.
