Well here we are, back from a 7 day trip around the Dumfries & Galloway area of Scotland.
The weather was good, we found some excellent photographic opportunities and it was only a lack of Internet Access that was a drawback. Being quiet and peaceful is OK in small doses but it's good to have contact with the world.
However did we manage before the arrival of the World Wide Web?
We wrote letters which were read hundreds of years later and marveled over. Now, in centuries to come, who is going to marvel over the website of John or Michael Riley?
Good point, but we can hope for "The Collected Forum Messages of...."
