That is indeed good logic in both counts. And can be counted with this.

All animals have four legs.

Dogs have four legs and therefore

All animals are dogs.

There is a word that explains this one. It means two statements from which a logical conclusion can be found. HOWEVER, the logical conclusion may be false! :D I wish I could remember what the word was though.

My favourite is:

No cat has eight tails. A cat has one more tail than no cat, so a cat has nine tails.

The word you are looking for may be diabologic

Good to see Mike in full paradox mode. I hate the damn things, because any thorough explanation I read seems to end up with complex arguments on semantics and statistical proofs.

Just posted because I've got your copy of that diabologic story, John. Remind me to bring it back to you some time soon before I forget again!
