Slatibartfarst's Crinkly Bits

Post by John »

Yes, we have returned from the Norwegian Fjords and we enjoyed all those crinkly bits in the landscape very much indeed. No signature on the glaciers though, which is a grave disappointment....

We saw beautiful sunsets (and sunrises) inasmuch as the sun ever sets in that place, rain, snow, 15 foot snowdrifts, yes you name it we saw it. But it was never cold.

I actually liked Bergen best in many ways. The English Church, The Botanical Gardens, the waterful next to the bus stop.....but to be honest we have landscape just as good here in the UK. Wherever you go in this world, it's the details that make the difference.

Bergen I believe was mentioned in The Cornelius Calendar and was similarly described as nice. I hope that you will have some photographs on your website some time soon!
