The Case of the Carefree Cat

This happened a while ago, but it's worth a mention.

Walking in Derbyshire, we passed a farm and a small tabby cat decided to follow us across the farm. The trouble is, it wouldn't stop following us, despite many efforts to send it home. So it tagged on. And stayed. Eventually it was a bit tired, so it was dutifully placed in a backpack and carried the rest of the way.

Some two hours later, we returned the same way, still carrying the cat, and when we reached the farm it jumped out and went home.

Don't cats behave in remarkable ways?
