Tokina 400mm f5.6

Sue doesn't know it yet, but I have here for her a manual focus K mount Tokina 400mm f5.6, probably the biggest lens she will ever have fitted to her camera.
She is very interested in bird photography but lenses are never long enough, so this is her chance to have a go with some decent magnification. 400mm on our DSLRs will be equivalent to the field of view that a 600mm lens would give on 35mm film, so she's in with a good chance of some brilliant pictures.
