After years of ill health the inventor of D&D has died.
Gary Gygax IMHO produced the best of the AD&D catalogue and it only started to stray when he left TSR and they started to run things by committee.
Classics such as Tomb of Horrors will never be seen again, although the originals can be played as many times as players can be found for them.
Gary was friendly and approachable and was the core of AD&D.
My own Dragonstone setting and adventures are inspired by his style and my DM style is too.
May the adventure continue...
